Overview - Start File

 

Using Visual Autorun, you can automatically open a document or start a file when the disc is inserted.

 

Copy document

 

1. The first step is to create a new folder on your desktop. This will be your CD Folder and contains the files that will be copied to the CD.

 

2. Copy the document you are distributing into this folder.

Use Visual Autorun

 

Start Visual Autorun and follow the instructions on your screen to add the interactive components to the folder.

Check for Viewer

 

Visual Autorun's exclusive Check-for-viewer feature helps ensure that your recipent is able to read your document.

In this example, we are distributing an Excel 2007 spreadsheet. If your recipent does not have Excel installed, Visual Autorun will open a webpage showing where to get the free Excel Viewer from Microsoft.

 

If you don't need to use this featurer, simply choose "Do nothing" and click Next.

Step 4. Burn to CD

 

Using any CD recording software, simply copy the contents of the CD Folder to a CD.

 

Your disc is finished. When the CD is inserted into the recipent's computer, your document will automatically open.
